Their Love Story
Taylor and Kelsay have known each other for a long time. Kelsay's best friend and Taylor played travel ball for years together. Then they officially ran into each other on the ball field and it all began there!
The Proposal
Oh the Proposal! Let me tell you -- It was December 16th 2017. about two months before I was planning a surprise birthday party for Taylor because her birthday is Dec 15th. Her Best Friend (Brooke) and I were making this a huge ugly sweater exciting party. While I was planning this Taylor went to Brooke in nervousness telling her she was ready to propose and make me her wife. Well Brooke confided in Taylor and told her that she had the best idea ever but that Taylor had to promise her that's how she was going to have to propose, Taylor in her right mind was hesitant because she has no idea what to think. Finally she agreed and told Taylor about the birthday party. So to my knowledge Taylor still had no idea or a sense of an idea that I had planned this birthday party for her. Night of When we walk in the door sure enough "SURPRISE!!!" All the sisters and girlfriends were standing there in their ugly sweaters with signs that said "Happy B-Day Tay!!!"
(Side Note** We have a wall that blocks view of our Kitchen and little be known to me the rest of the family and friends were hiding in there)
Then, After all the yelling happy birthday etc. Taylor turns and hugs me and grabs both my hands and looks at me dead in the eyes and says.." Are you ready for the real surprise?" As I turned to look at all the girls in confusion they flipped their signs around to say " Will You Marry Me?"
Of course I hinge over in awe and start bawling and screaming yes!!
So How did She propose you ask? She said will you marry me and I planned the whole thing without even knowing!
A Dream Come True
Their beautiful wedding was August 5th in Cozumel Mexico! There are no words to describe how magical this day was. They played beach volleyball, drank champagne, danced, we laughed, cried, and cried some more, but most importantly they loved! Their stunning wedding took place at Sunscape Sabor Cozumel and their Wedding Coordinator Patti Gomez made the day even more incredible than they could have ever imagined. It was a no stress, no worry, PERFECT day! Kelsay looked absolutely gorgeous her dress from the Allure Couture bridal collection! This romantic a-line gown trailing appliques throughout the bodice and float down the skirt of the dress! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
