Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Amy and AJ

Another gorgeous Mia Grace bride! Congratulations to Amy and AJ who tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony this summer. Tradition, elegance, and candlelight encapsulated their perfect day. We are excited to share their love story and photos with you!

It had a beautiful border that drew me to it because my husband is from India, and the design in the border pattern seemed to hint at eastern influence. Love Story

AJ and Amy met for their first dinner date in March 2019. They were surprised to have found such a connection and unique happiness with someone raised in another country, yet they bonded over many similarities in family and values.


Proposal

AJ surprised Amy by popping the question while up in the air during a helicopter ride above Lake of the Ozarks. It was a magical weekend at the beginning of fall! Of course, she said YES!


Wedding

Amy and AJ’s wedding style was modern, classic elegance. AJ and Amy are both traditional. Yet, they wanted the weekend to reflect both of their families' religious traditions. Amy decided on an "elegant, evening glow" theme for the reception Saturday night, which was even more appropriate when a storm caused most of they reception to be by candlelight. However, both ceremonies had sunshine, and they were overjoyed to celebrate both days with their families and friends.
