Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Lexie and Conor

Lexie and Conor pulled off the most epic surprise wedding for their family and friends! We are ecstatic to share their love story, surprise wedding, and gorgeous photos with you!

Lexie had to go dress shopping without an entourage because of the surprise and Covid restrictions. The staff was amazing and helped her find the dress at her very first shop she stopped at! She went to a few more stores after but came back the next week to pull the trigger on her dream dress.



Love Story

Lexie and Conor met at work and quickly started spending time together. They had their first official date at Hair of the Dog and evolved to bowling, movie nights, football watching, and vacations together. After dating for a year, in the midst of the pandemic, they decided we wanted to pull off a surprise wedding!



Proposal

There was no official proposal – Lexie and Conor had decided to pull off the surprise wedding by getting everyone to Chicago under the ruse that they were there to “surprise Lexie” after Conor proposed. When Lexie and Conor started taking wedding pictures the day of, they decided to capture a snap of a proposal officially even though they were getting married that day!



Wedding

Lexie and Conor arrived to Benchmark Saturday afternoon in full wedding attire and pulled off an epic surprise - so many happy, emotional, and shocked friends and family. The couple then walked to the church, tied the knot, and were bagpiped to Utopian Tailgate, the final bar of the night, where they were able to enjoy a long and celebratory evening with so many people that meant so much to them. There weren’t many traditional aspects of their wedding, but it was absolutely perfect for them!
