Love Story
Rebecca and Zack met through Tinder in 2014. Zack always says, “It was love at first swipe!” On their first date, it felt like they had known each other forever and it was something special.
Zack hated country music back then, and unfortunately for him their first date was a country concert. Over the next few months their relationship progressed; they met each other's families and decided they wanted to make things official.
Rebecca and Zack dated long distance for a while. They attended schools in different states and Rebecca lived in Chicago after graduation. What started as once a month weekend visits quickly turned into visits every other weekend. Rebecca and Zack moved in together when she moved to St. Louis for work in 2018.
Proposal Zack proposed on December 19, 2018. The couple had just gotten home from trivia with some friends and were deciding who was going to take their dog, Stanley, out. Zack said "I'll make you a deal. I promise to take Stanley out tonight, tomorrow night, and every other night for the rest of our lives as long as you say 'yes.’” Then Zack got down on one knee. It was just the two of them in their apartment and it was absolutely perfect!
Wedding Rebecca and Zack tried to keep the feel of their wedding very romantic. Their wedding was originally supposed to be May 2020, but they had to push their wedding back twice due to COVID.
Rebecca and Zack ended up waiting 949 days from the day he proposed until their wedding. It was definitely worth the wait! The wedding was absolutely perfect!
