Congratulations to Mia Grace Bride Monica and her new husband Matt! It was love at first sight for these two. After running into each other before a Cardinals game, they became inseparable. We are excited to share their romantic love story, proposal, and wedding with you!
"My experience at Mia Grace was wonderful! Our consultant listened to everything I was looking for in a dress. She brought a handful of dresses that perfectly aligned with what I was looking for. I felt very comfortable trying each dress on and kept going back to the initial dress I tried on, which ended up being the one!"

Love Story
Monica and Matt went to the same highschool, but didn’t know each other. After college, they both were at the same bar prior to a Cardinals game over 4th of July weekend. Matt was with his best friend who Monica also knew. Their mutual friend ended up introducing them. The whole group hung out the rest of the weekend, including going to another Cardinals Game, Matt’s mom’s birthday party at her house and a concert under the arch. The rest is history.
Proposal
Fast forward 7 years... Monica and Matt both have blended families, so their holidays are always crazy juggling four families and Matt’s son’s schedules. For once, they did not have any plans on Christmas Eve, and Matt insisted on going out to a nice restaurant to enjoy the evening. He secretly called ahead to a downtown restaurant and asked for a window view of the Arch. Dinner didn’t go as planned, because they were seated at a high top table next to a full family with small children. After dinner, Matt asked if Monica wanted to walk through Kiener Plaza. They took a few selfies with the big Christmas tree in the background but after looking at each one, Monica thought they looked just okay. At that moment, Matt pulled out the ring and asked, "Will this make it look better?" He got down on one knee and asked Monica to marry him!
Wedding
Monica and Matt were planning to get married at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten. They wanted their venue to be meaningful and a place they could visit in St. Louis. Unfortunatey, the Biergarten closed due to Covid and they had to change venues last minute. Monica and Matt chose to get married and celebrate at The Caramel Room. They had a beautiful ceremony and rooftop celebration.
