Congratulations to Emily and Jimmy on their gorgeous wedding! These two tied the knot in the perfect, romantic ceremony. We are ecstatic to share their love story and photos with you!
“I loved Mia Grace. I had so much anxiety going into the day because I had no idea what I wanted in a wedding dress, and I had never tried a wedding dress on before. My stylist was the true MVP of the day and took what I liked about each dress and tried to combine it into one. She randomly pulled the dress that I ended up choosing because she thought I would like the lace detail. She was so wonderful and let me put it on after every other dress because I loved it so much.” - Emily
Love Story
Jimmy’s aunt and Emily’s mom have been close friends for over 20 years. One night, they were having a girl’s night and decided that Emily and Jimmy were perfect for each other—and they turned out to be right!
The couple dated long distance while Emily was finishing PT school in Kansas City for six months. Emily finally moved back to St. Louis to stay, and the rest is history!
Proposal
Emily said, “I am the world’s worst person to surprise and pretty much helped him plan our engagement. My birthday is the 7th of January, and he was traveling for work at the time so I figured he would do something to make up for it. All of my friends and family were also oddly all busy the weekend after my birthday, so I put two and two together.”
Jimmy proposed when he gave Emily a Christmas ornament that had a picture of the two of them and “Will You Marry Me?” on it. When Emily looked up from opening the gift, Jimmy was on one knee! They had a party at his parents’ house with friends and family after to celebrate!
Wedding
Emily and Jimmy’s wedding was September 25th, 2021. Their colors were dusty blue and navy with accents of greenery and gold. There wedding was simple and romantic. Emily said, “Sisters Floral Design did an incredible job with all of our flowers and they truly captured my vision so well!”
