Love Story
Emmy and JC met on Tinder! Emmy was living in Columbia, MO at the time after graduating from Mizzou and JC lived in STL. They swiped right on each other when Emmy was visiting a friend one weekend in STL, and the rest is history!
Proposal
JC planned a "surprise" engagement afternoon. Emmy somehow had an afternoon free of meetings at work, so the couple "magically" had time for lunch, right near the Botanical Gardens! They from went to the Botanical Gardens and were on the bridge next to the Chinese Gardens. JC got down on one knee and proposed on the bridge! Of course, Emmy said YES!
Wedding
Emmy and JC’s wedding style was classic with modern whimsical twists, just like Seven Gables Inn! They loved Seven Gables for their classic French style with modern upgrades, and their whimsical courtyard with lush greenery, a huge tree, and string lights to tie the theme together.
