When you know, you know! After meeting each other a couple years prior and keeping in touch, it didn’t take long for Erika and JD to know they had found ‘the one!’ These two tied the knot in a gorgeous wedding this past August.

Love Story
Erika and JD met years ago and always kept in touch, even though they both moved a few times. After Erika moved back from Florida, the couple reconnected. After just a few dates, they both just knew they were meant for each other.
Erika and JD always heard everyone say, “when you know you know.” They never understood until they found each other! JD and Erika had a conversation after only dating for about a month where they both knew they had found the one.
She Said YES! JD cannot keep a secret, and the couple had a vacation planned for Mexico. JD was planning to propose there but couldn’t wait! A couple nights before they left, he proposed in their living room in front of their closest friends. Erika was completely surprised!
Wedding
Erika and JD’s wedding was outdoors and had a rustic theme. Their original wedding date was May 30th, but they had to postpone to August 22nd because of covid.
During the wedding day, Erika most looking forward to the reception where they could have some fun! Planning a wedding and postponing the whole event during a pandemic was extremely stressful. She and JD were ready to spend the day enjoying the celebration.
The couple decided to have a small ceremony in May and postponed their big wedding until August. By that time, they were ready to finally celebrate with all of our family and friends!
The most special part of the day was when Erika and JD snuck away from the reception to take some pictures just the two of them and spend some time together without all of the noise. It was nice to have some time together just the two of them, even if it was only for a few minutes.
