Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Kelsey and Sam

Congratulations to Kelsey and Sam on their happily ever after! This gorgeous couple tied the knot in one of the most beautifully done Christmas weddings we have seen. Their college love story is one filled with love, connection, and adventure! We cannot wait to share their love story and photos with you!

Luckily I got my dream dress from my absolute favorite designer at on one of Mia Grace’s off-the-rack sales! Who would have thought?" - Kelsey

Love Story & Proposal

Sam and Kelsey met back in 2014 during their first year of college. The pair met through a mutual friend, who was Kelsey’s roommate at the time, when Sam was visiting his friends at Mizzou. Although Sam and Kelsey went to different colleges, Sam and Kelsey hit it off but did not go much further than the night. The couple rarely talked over the next 5 years. It was the Blues Winning the Stanley cup that reconnected the (now) newlyweds. From that encounter on Kelsey and Sam were together! And despite Kelsey living in Kansas City and Sam living in St. Louis, the two made the long-distance work. The rest is history!

For the proposal Sam wanted to do something special for Kelsey. It was important to both that the moment was personal and kept intimate. Sam decided that the most perfect place to propose would be the place where he and Kelsey had first said I love you to each other. Sam took Kelsey to her first house in Kansas City. This house meant so much to both as it is where they really started to watch their love bloom.

The wedding took theme notes from clean modern trends, that never go out of style with a Christmas twist thrown in! The couple included elegant blush and red accents that complemented perfectly the overall wintry feel. The modern art-deco styled accents made the whole day feel very warm and glamours. The ceremony was held in The Jewel Box located in St. Louis' Forest Park. The whole day was absolutely dreamy.

Kelsey looked stunning in her gown designed by Watters! The clean ivory fabric complemented with the straight lines building the neckline and off the shoulder sleeves fit Kelsey perfectly. Kelsey looked incredible and the dress suited her vision perfectly.

Thank you to Kelsey and Sam for allowing all of us at Mia Grace Bridal to play a role in your special day. We wish you love and happiness as you begin the next chapter of your life together!
