This silhouette, also known as the “princess” dress, is known for its fitted bodice that hits at the natural waistline and has a full skirt. The ballgown shape is ideal for many body types. Since this fit hits at the natural waistline, it highlights the tiniest part of the waist. Many brides fall in love with this silhouette just for that reason! Most ballgown dresses include layers of tulle and usually include crinoline, a type of underskirt, to enhance the fullness of the dress.
A-Line

This silhouette is perfect for brides who want a fitted dress, but don’t want to commit to the mermaid style. A fit and flare gown hugs the body through the bust and waist. It is fitted through the hips and thighs, then flares out above the knee- giving your legs a bit more freedom and movement.
Mermaid
The mermaid silhouette is sexy and a showstopper. This silhouette is fitted through the bust, waist, hips, and thighs. The gown flares out below the knee. The mermaid gown accentuates curves and creates a beautiful hourglass shape. Mermaid gowns usually include beading, ruching, or ruffles to take the dress to the next level!
