We are obsessing over Marissa and Dan’s wedding pictures and we absolutely thrilled that we have the opportunity to share their cute love story with the Mia Grace family. Marissa would say that they have a typical love story, other than Dan meeting her family the day after their first date!
Their Love Story
Marissa and Dan met while working together at Boeing. At the time, Marissa was still living at home with her parents and sister, and her family decided to go to the zoo the day after Marissa and Dan’s first date! Since Dan lived so close to the Zoo, Marissa thought she would extend the invite, not thinking it was a deal deal since her family was easy to get along with and they do everything together. Marissa says looking back, that probably freaked him out. He did end up meeting them at the Zoo and they all had a great time! Dan later told Marissa that he was skeptical of why she would ask him to meet her family after their first date and he even thought she was setting him up, but it all out worked out in the end!
The couple dated for a little over 2 years, but on September 9th, 2015 he propsed to her in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World! Marissa is a huge Disney fan so she felt like she was in her very own fairy tale. Needless to say she definitely wanted to look like a princess on their wedding day!
A Dream Come True
On October 22nd, 2016 Marissa and Dan tied the knot at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and continued the celebration of their union at The Cedars Banquet Hall. Marissa wore a stunning A-line gown from Morilee by Madeline Gardner that featured pearl and crystal beading throughout the bodice and the beautiful tulle skirt covered in cascading lace appliques. She paired this breathtaking gown with an simply embellished veil from Giselle Bridals and a fantastic hand-beaded illusion belt from Mon Cheri Bridal. It was an perfect fairytale wedding and Marissa definitely looked like a princess! This wonderful wedding was created through the hard work of the vendors below:
