The Mia Grace girls get so excited when we receive pictures from our brides on their very special day! Megan and Grant are such an adorable couple and their love story is definitely one for the books!
Their Love Story
It all began in 2012 when their parents reconnected while planning their 40th high school reunion. In August of 2014, Megan’s mom asked if I remembered Susan Weitzel who helped with planning the reunion. Her mom then told her that Susan’s son wanted to go out with her, so Grant and Megan decided to exchange numbers through their moms!
After they exchanged numbers, Megan pretty much only knew 5 things about Grant: his age, his height, his hair color, he was a homeowner, and the fun fact that they both went to the same high school. Grant wasn’t on any form of social media, so Megan only had these small facts to go on until they actually met. She was told through the grapevine (aka “her mom via his mom") that he was going to call her soon to set something up! After a while, Megan started to forget about this funny and random setup until November 2014. That’s when Grant finally pulled the trigger and contacted her out of the blue! They ended up going out a few days later and, well the rest is history. Grant proposed to Megan on December 2015 and a little less than a year later they got married!
What a Wonderful Wedding!
On September 24th, Megan and Grant tied the knot at the Central Presbyterian Church surrounded by their closest friends and family! They continued their celebration at the St. Louis Community Foundation in Oak Knoll Park. Megan looked absolutely beautiful in the Prinia from Sophia Tolli by Mon Cheri. This gorgeous A-line gown features misty tulle layers of decadent hand-beaded lace appliques and a stunning strapless sweetheart neckline. Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the amazing vendors below:
