Their Love Story
It couldn't have worked out more perfectly for these two to meet and fall in love! Kip and Sarah were introduced to each other by a mutual friend in March 2012 and their love grew from there. Kip and Sarah were married on September 17, 2016!
The Proposal
Kip and Sarah are very outdoorsy so their proposal was more than fitting! Kip proposed to Sarah during one of their hikes in Pere Marquette State Park in Grafton, Illinois, with their dog, Henry, alongside. "We stopped for a break. I was playing around with Henry and when I turned around, he was down on one knee!" Sarah reminisced about the proposal.
A Dream Come True
On September 17th, Sarah and Kip tied the knot at the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Belleville, Illinois surrounded by their closest friends and family. Following the ceremony, the newlywed couple continued to celebrate their union at the Regency Room at Panorama Banquet Center. Sarah looked so breathtaking in her wedding dress from Allure Bridals! This stunning fit and flare gown features multi-textured lace throughout the entire dress and a beautiful dramatic train. Sarah and Kip love supporting local when they can, so their wedding theme was about their hometown of Belleville! From the florist to the cake to the photographer to their parish. They are so proud and grateful for what surrounds them and supports them – vendors, family, friends, and community.
