Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Caitlin and Andrew

The photographs we received from Caitlin and Andrew’s wedding are absolutely stunning! Caitlin had the most beautiful glow on her wedding day and you can tell these love birds are obsessed with one another. We are so glad we could be part of their gorgeous wedding and we are so excited to share their love story with the bridal world!

“Searching for a dress at Mia Grace was the absolute best! Every single person on the Mia Grace team made me feel beautiful and listened to all my concerns. I had a dream dress in mind but couldn’t find it anywhere so when I arrived at Mia Grace I told my consultant exactly what I was looking for and it ended up being the second dress she pulled that took my family and I’s breath away. It’s a two piece and both piece turned a vision in my head into a reality.” – Caitlin

Their Love Story

Andrew – goes by A.J. – and Caitlin met when they were in high school. They became close friends, but they never dated! Well at least not until they reconnected in college. They spent a weekend home together catching up and that was it! They fell for each other quick and they even spent three years long distance while they both finished school at different colleges. After 8 years of dating, A.J. finally proposed!

The Proposal

Caitlin had about given up on A.J. proposing. They had both talked about wanting to get married, but every time she thought he was going to propose he never did. One day in early January, he told her to get ready for a surprise and to dress warm! He took Caitlin to Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden for what he called a “VIP” experience. They were allowed access to the Piper Observatory overlooking all the lights when he said to her, “You know why I brought you up here right?” and then he got down on one knee! According to Caitlin, “it was well worth the wait.”

A Dream Come True

On June 3rd, Caitlin and A.J. tied the knot at the Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel surrounded by their loving friends and family. Caitlin chose a modern yet classic feel for her wedding. She wanted blush, gold, and navy colors to compliment the beautiful winery venue. She paid a lot of attention to the florals and wanted her bouquet and centerpieces to be plush and really warm up the room! Caitlin actually created her very own bridal gown with two separates from Watters Bridal! She paired the Daisy Corset from the Watters Bridal Collection with the Almira Skirt from the Wtoo Collection to create a beautiful and unique A-line dress. The Daisy corset is a simple and sweet satin top, which looks absolutely gorgeous with the layered ruffles on the Almira tulle skirt. To complete her fantastic bridal look, Caitlin also wore an amazing horsehair veil from Giselle Bridals. We can’t get over how perfect this veil was with the ruffled skirt! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:

Thank you so much Caitlin and Andrew for allowing all of us at Mia Grace Bridal help make your wedding a dream come true!
