“My Mia Grace Bridal experience was amazing!! Everyone was so helpful and nice! They were very patient with me trying on so many dresses until I found the perfect one!! I would suggest you guys to every bride-to-be I know!!” – Emily
Where It All Began
Emily and Josh met on a blind date! She knew from the moment that she met Josh that he was the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with! They dated for 3.5 years before he proposed. That entire time Josh was working for the pipeline and was out of town quite frequently. Emily believes that this time apart made their relationship so much stronger! Thankfully, now he works for Emily’s father and is at home with his new wife!
The Proposal
Josh proposed to Emily on her family vacation to Myrtle Beach in June of 2016! They went out to dinner to a beautiful restaurant, which was in a bay surrounded by yachts. Emily wanted to get a picture out by the bay, but it was raining. Luckily the rain stopped and they were able to venture out near the water to get a good picture! While they were getting their picture taken by their waitress, Josh dropped down on one knee! Emily’s response was “It’s about dang time!” What made this moment even more spectacular was that because of the rain, there was a full rainbow behind them as he proposed!
A Dream Come True
Emily has always wanted a rustic wedding in a barn since she grew up in the country and on a beautiful day in October, her dream came true! On October 20th, this amazing couple tied the knot at the Pointe D’Vine surrounded by their closest friends and family! Emily looked so stunning in the Prinia from the Sophia Tolli Collection for Mon Cheri Bridal, which features a flawless sweetheart neckline and a misty tulle A-line skirt! The beaded lace appliques cascades beautifully down the skirt and the dazzling crystal belt emphasizes the natural waistline! Emily also wore a fabulous fingertip length veil from the Berger Collection that features a lovely beaded lace edge to match the appliques on the Prinia! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
Florist: Troy Flower Shop
Caterer: Celebrations Catering
Photographer: Lighter Focus Photography
Hairstylist: Megan Chidster
Makeup Artist: Lana McPike
Thank you so much Emily and Josh for allowing all of us at Mia Grace Bridal help make your wedding day a dream come true!
