This lovely newlywed couple had the most stunning Chicago wedding and we are so glad that we could be featured in such an elegant event! The Proposal
Ryan surprised Cassie with a trip to Cuba - a place that she had ALWAYS wanted to visit! On the first night there, as they were walking through the main plaza as part of their walking tour, Ryan said they should take a picture in front of the beautiful Havana Cathedral they had walked by earlier that day. While she was posing for the picture, Ryan was down on one knee! She found out later that the guy taking their “picture” was actually recording the whole thing! After Ryan proposed, the entire plaza clapped for us! The next stop on their tour happened to be a famous mojito car, so they enjoyed mojitos, live music, and the realization that they were engaged! It truly was the best night of their lives (aside from the wedding) and the fact that Ryan asked her to marry him in a place she had always wanted to visit AND planned to record it so they could send the video to their families meant the world to Cassie!
A Dream Come True
On April 21st, Cassie and Ryan celebrated their union with a gorgeous ceremony at the Holy Family Church in Chicago followed by a phenomenal reception at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge! This amazing couple wanted their wedding to simple and classic since they tied the knot in Chicago. Their colors were black and white with blush accents. The bridesmaid dresses were black, but the girls were able to choose the style they felt most comfortable in. The groomsmen wore black tuxes with black/white polka dot pocket squares. Everything turned out just had Cassie had imagined it – and she got SO many compliments on her dress! Cassie looked absolutely stunning in the Talin from the Maggie Sottero Bridal Collection. This fantastic A-line wedding gown featured beautiful beaded cap sleeves and a dazzling beaded belt with Swarovski crystals! The bateau neckline, the scoop back, and the pearl buttons trailing down the skirt are the perfect accents to this romantic design. Cassie’s bridesmaids looked lovely in a variety of black dresses from the Bill Levkoff Collection and the flower girls had cute black/white dresses to match the rest of the bridal party!
