Their Love Story
This lovely couple met on the internet, which is where everything started with some small talk about weekend plans! Ashley told Harlan she was going ice skating that particular weekend and the next week Harlan reached out to Ashley to see how ice skating went. The rest is history!
The Proposal
On January 28th last year, Ashley was at her usual nail appointment when she received a text message from Harlan. This message told her to meet him at a particular address at a particular time! She was advised to take an Uber to the location. She was curious, so she googled the address and found out it was the Westin Hotel in downtown Saint Louis. Ashley does not like surprises much, so she was unsure what to expect. Harlan gave her a room number and when she knocked on the door of that room, he opened the door and invited her in! Still unsure of what he had up his sleeve, he proposed that very moment! No friends, no family. Just candles, some roses, and her beautiful engagement ring!
A Dream Come True
On May 5th, Ashley and Harlan tied the knot at the .Zack surrounded by their loving friends and family! Their wedding theme was lace, sequins, crystals, and acrylic with a hint of pearls. Ashley adores flowers, so they had tons of flower arrangements and it helped soften the tone of the modern and industrial venue! Ashley looked absolutely beautiful in her bridal gown from the Maggie Sottero Bridal Collection! Her dress, the Divina, features a stunning fitted silhoutte with a sweetheart neckline and an amazing ruched bodice! This top is perfectly paired with the layers of tulle in organza in the layered skirt! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
