Their Love Story
Kati and Eric met in 2011 through a mutual friend! First, there was texting; then, late nights playing Halo Reach. A month later, they went on their first date together. Who knew everything would be closed on Main Street St. Charles on a Monday? No worries though, there’s always Netflix and Chill! Since then, they’ve been with each other constantly, whether it’s spending Saturdays walking around Main Street or passing more late nights playing Halo!
The Proposal
After six years, Eric proposed on August 21st of last year during the Solar Eclipse! They were having a picnic, watching the moon creep in front of the sun, and during the darkness of totality, Eric asked her to marry him. Perfect timing for the “diamond ring” and of course Kati said YES!
A Dream Come True
On May 13th, Kati and Eric tied the knot with a non-traditional ceremony at Ha Ha Tonka State Park under the Natural Bridge followed by a reception at the Post Office Picnic Pavilion! Their wedding was laid-back, woodsy glam, with a tough of unique quirk! The décor was the nature surrounding them plus a few flower arrangements, antlers, and a skull! Kati looked absolutely beautiful in her bridal gown from the Morilee by Madeline Gardner Bridal Collection. The Milly is a stunning ball gown with a gorgeous plunging V-neckline and illusion insets along the sides! This light and airy design also features a flounced organza skirt and a lovely stripped pattern throughout the entire dress! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
