Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Kristina and Nathan

We are absolutely in love with all the photographs we received from Kristina and Nathan’s wedding day! Kristina looked so stunning in her dress and this lovely couple couldn’t have asked for a better day to tie the knot! We are so glad we could be a part of their very special day and we are excited to share their love story with the Mia Grace Bridal Family!

“From the moment I walked into Mia Grace I felt comfortable and excited to search for a dress. I was immediately impressed by the kindness of all of the staff. I was able to narrow down my choices to two dresses while shopping with my mom. I then brought in my bridesmaids to help me make the final decision. Mia Grace was absolutely amazing every step of the way.” - Kristina

Their Love Story

Kristina and Nathan actually have mutual friends and met while they were in college at Missouri State. A few years after college, they ran into each other while at a Mizzou football game with their mutual friends! Once they got talking to one another, sparks flew and they never looked back!

The Proposal

It was two nights before Christmas and they were planning to go to church together followed by a house warming party at their friend Grote’s house! As they enjoyed the church service, she was focused on her throbbing finger that she had jammed on the way out the door, but Nathan was busy sweating bullets. Kristina thought nothing of it as she’s usually freezing cold and he is usually hot! On the way home, he told her that he wanted to exchange a present before going over to Kelly and Andy’s house. This should have set off a signal for Kristina as she usually begs Nathan to open presents early. When they got back home, Nathan told her to come downstairs and then he asked her to look at the Christmas tree while he got out the present. He said it wasn’t wrapped and he didn’t want her to see it until he was back downstairs. As she awkwardly looked at the tree, she wondered what he had gotten her that was so big he couldn’t wrap it. She thought maybe it was a bike, as they had talked about getting bikes to ride Grant’s Trail together. When he got back downstairs he told her to turn around and as she turned around she noticed he was holding a jewelry box with a light shining down on a ring. At first, she didn’t comprehend it was a ring for her, but then it all clicked as Nathan got down on one knee and proposed. The few moments following were all kind of a blur, but she ended up saying yes (of course) and they were both really excited! Carter, their dog, was also really excited and confused as to what was going on. The “housewarming party” ended up being a surprise engagement party that Nathan had set up and they had fun celebrating with some of their friends!

A Dream Come True

On April 28th, Kristina and Nathan celebrated their union with a gorgeous ceremony at the Jewelbox in Forest Park surrounded by their closest friends and family! Following the ceremony, the newlywed couple continued the celebration with a fantastic reception at the Neo on Locust! Kristina looked absolutely breathtaking in her bridal gown from Allure, which features beautiful sheer lace panels! This lacy mermaid gown features simple lace straps and a lovely scalloped hemline. Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
