The pictures we received from Margie and Joey’s wedding are so adorable! Their ceremony took place on the beach and the photographs were absolutely breathtaking. “My experience at Mia Grace Bridal was AMAZING!! I had tried on at least 6 or so dresses and I really liked all of them, but I just didn't have that feeling yet, so I was kind of sad because I was worried maybe something was just wrong with me. Then Vanessa said she had an idea, so she went and grabbed a two-piece dress and I tried it on and I LOVED IT! It felt and looked perfect! Now that I think about it, I think I was looking for something too simple that when I tried them on, it was not bride enough, but when she showed me her idea, it was perfect! She was super nice, made me feel comfortable and focused on whether I liked it or not.” – Margie
Their Love Story
Margie was working as a counselor at Secamp on Big Pine Key and Joey was a local there! She went to Coconuts bar with some of her colleagues one night and Joey came up to her to talk. They stayed in touch ever since, even though college and a 7-hour drive kept them apart! Margie was in St. Petersburg while he lived in Summerland Key! 8 years later this lovely couple tied the knot!
The Proposal
They were visiting Ecuador, specifically the Galapagos Islands, when he proposed! Margie had no idea, but he had been planning this for 6 months! She knew they were going to Ecuador, but she had no idea he was going to propose to her in the room they were staying in on the boat! It could not have worked out any better!
A Dream Come True
On June 9th, Margie and Joey celebrated their union at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park in Florida surrounded by their closest friends and family! Margie looked so stunning in her two-piece bridal gown! She wore a beautiful crepe skirt from Allure Bridals, which she paired with the Lula from the Wtoo Bridal Collection by Watters. This corset bodice features Ardenia Lace motifs thoughtfully-placed throughout the design! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
