We absolutely love when our brides marry their high school sweetheart! It is a wonderful thing to know that this amazing couple grew up together and eventually decided to grow old with one another. Their Love Story
Bryan and Allison met in Spanish class their freshman year of high school. Allison thought he was cute so she didn’t mind if he copied her homework. They became good friends over the next couple years, but during their junior year Bryan finally realized he liked Allison enough to be his girlfriend.
The Proposal
Allison had just got home from getting her nails done and as she walked into their living room, she noticed that Bryan had candles and flowers placed all over! He had also printed a ton of pictures of them from high school all the way up to more recent memories. He had a little “speech” prepared about how much Allison means to him and how he could not imagine doing life without her. After he got through his speech, Bryan got down on one knee and asked Allison to marry him!
A Dream Come True
On June 19th, Allison and Bryan celebrated their union at the El Dorado Royale Resort surrounded by their closest friends and family. Since they decided on a destination wedding, their style was very casual. Everyone was barefoot during the ceremony and the reception was at one of the bars at the resort. The best part is that the scenery around them was all the decorations they really needed! They did their best to keep everything as simple and as low maintenance as possible. Allison looked so stunning in the Sonoran from Willowby by Watters Bridal Collection. This whimsical wedding gown features a beautiful empire-waistline and romantic lace throughout the entire design. The softness of this gorgeous gown was absolutely perfect for a destination wedding in Mexico! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from Laurie Andrejski, the talented photographer, and the amazing staff from El Dorado. The resort provided the floral arrangements, the catering, the videographer, and the DJ!
