We cannot stop obsessing over this magical love story! A Disney proposal, two gorgeous ceremonies, and a love to last a lifetime! Their Love Story
Lara and Robert work for the same company, but in the beginning they only knew of each other! Robert works out in the field and Lara works in the office. They initially met at a mandatory OSHA meeting and during those three days they got to know each other a little bit! There was no communication after the meeting, but 8 months later Robert had come into the office for some addition training! Two weeks later he sent Lara a friend request on Facebook and two weeks after that he sent her a silly message saying "hi” while also admitting he was smitten the day he came in and the rest is history! Lara and Robert are the very best of friends and haven't gone one single day without talking since the first day he messaged her!
The Proposal
This amazing couple decided to take their kids to Walt Disney World for fall break in 2017! After they checked in to their resort, they headed straight to Magic Kingdom. They stood in a short line to take pictures in front of Cinderella’s Castle and after a few family shots were taking, Robert asked if he could get a picture of just the two of them! He walked towards Lara, got down on one knee, and proposed right in front of the castle! It was truly magical!
A Dream Come True
Lara and Robert actually had two wedding celebrations! One was a little more intimate and in Puerto Morelos, Mexico! The other celebration was stateside, which allowed all their family and friends to join in on the joyous event! Lara and Robert had a gorgeous ceremony at the Forest Park followed by a fantastic reception at John D. McGurk's. Lara looked absolutely stunning in the Selena from the Wtoo Bridal Collection by Watters! This breathtaking bridal gown features a true sweetheart neckline and a beautiful taffeta ruched bodice! The simple ruched waistband is paired perfectly with the lovely layered tulle skirt, which is finished with a horsehair trim! Two silky taffeta and tulle flowers with crystal centers accent the back bodice to fully complete this amazing bridal design. Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
