We absolutely love when we get the chance to see photos from a Mia Grace Bride’s wedding, like Katherine and Tim! They celebrated their union on a beautiful day in October and we are thrilled we could be a part of their very special day!
“My experience at Mia Grace was so amazing. I had an appointment earlier that day at another shop that went so badly we left. From the moment I walked in to Mia Grace it felt different. Everyone was so kind and let me take my time looking through everything. They were upfront with costs and pointed me in the right direction to stay within my budget. The assistant was helpful and not pushy in the slightest. I have recommended you guys to a number of girls since!” – Katherine
Their Love Story
Katherine and Tim swiped right for each other on Tinder! She liked his beard and the fact that he liked to travel. Tim liked that she baked pies and drank whiskey. After weeks of talking, they finally met in person on their first date at The Royale. The beginning of their relationship was a whirlwind that solidified their feelings for each other fast! From the moment they met, they knew that something was different!
The Proposal
Katherine is an opera singer and Tim knew that she had never been to The Metropolitan Opera in New York City! He planned an amazing weekend for them. After a walk through Central Park and a fantastic dinner, they made their way over to the opera! He played it so cool that Katherine started to think “oh I have misread this entirely.” They stopped by the fountain, took some pictures, and then he asked if she wanted to check out the gift shop. At that point, Katherine had given up hope that he would propose, but as they were walking in he spins her around! She went ahead and said “yes” before he was able to get his knee on the ground!
A Dream Come True
On October 6th, Katherine and Tim celebrated their very special day with a beautiful ceremony at The Piper Palm House! Following the ceremony, this lovely couple continued their celebration with an amazing reception at the Neo on Locust! Their wedding theme was inspired by their ceremony location, the Piper Palm House! They tried to bring the clean lines, greenery, and art deco architectural elements in to every aspect of the wedding! Katherine looked absolutely gorgeous in the Bianca Marie from the Maggie Sottero bridal collection! This romantic ballgown features strapless scoop neckline and a phenomenal flowing organza skirt! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
Florist: An Affair to Remember
Caterer: Chef Ryan McDonald
Photographer: Jacoby Photo and Design
Hairstylist: Salon Joy
Makeup Artist: Makeup Works by Laura Bewig
Thank you so much Katherine and Tim for allowing all of us at Mia Grace Bridal help make your wedding day a dream come true!
