Lauren and Michael’s wonderful wedding happened to be on St. Patrick’s Day and yet that’s not where their luck began! They may not have the most glamorous love story, but they were both lucky enough to find each other!

Their Love Story
Lauren believes their love story is quite the cliché because it was a simple one! They had several mutual friends but had never heard of each other. Michael sent Lauren a friend request and that’s where it all began. They started talking and later on down the road he would come in to the restaurant Lauren managed just to see her! Before she knew it, he’d come up to hang out and he would spend hours there without ever really ordering anything. He simply just waited for her and they would chat with the very few free minutes she had!
The Proposal
One of Lauren’s favorite places is the zoo, so Michael took her to the Zoo Lights events the St. Louis Zoo hosts in December! They were joined by his mom and his youngest brother, so it just seemed like a family outing. Lauren didn’t realize until later that his brother was there for a reason. He was there to sneak Michael the ring box and then help his mom capture the moment for them! It wasn’t a huge tropical getaway, but it meant the world to Lauren. It was at one of her favorite places and he completely took her by surprise!
What A Beautiful Wedding
On March 17th, Lauren and Michael celebrated their union at the Sunflower Hill Farm surrounded by their closest friends and family! It was an intimate wedding with a modern yet rustic atmosphere. Since it was St. Patrick’s Day, Lauren decided on doing a play on the traditional Irish colors. Her accent colors were peach and mint, which looks absolutely stunning with her bridal gown from the Allure Romance Collection! This romantic and timeless silhouette features gorgeous illusion cap sleeves and delicate lace appliques cascading down the sweetheart bodice! The tulle skirt is finished with matching lace appliques and is perfectly paired with the phenomenal illusion back!
