What a wonderful wedding! We are still obsessing over the images we received from Heather and Nathan’s very special day! I mean look at how perfect everything turned out for this amazing couple! We cannot tell you how excited we are to share their love story with all of you and we want to thank Nathan and Heather for letting us be a small part of their new journey together!
“Mia Grace, from start to finish, was amazing. The experience of scheduling was easy through the online scheduling format, and the consultants were always willing to help as much as possible. Whether it be for myself or my bridesmaids (who all purchased their dresses through Mia Grace) it was an effortless experience for all of us.)” – Heather
Their Love Story
Heather and Nathan actually met one another at a mutual friend’s housewarming party! After talking for about a month, they both decided to make things official. So they started dating and just 15 short months later, they were engaged!
The Proposal
Nathan and Heather had plans to go on vacation to Estes Park, CO after Christmas with her parents! While they were there, they had plans to go skiing and snowmobiling. Nathan had more plans in mind, obviously! On the first full day of the trip, they made their way up the winding road through Rocky Mountain National Park. While overlooking the scenery, Heather’s dad suggested that the lovely couple get a nice picture with the mountains in the background. After snapping a couple pictures, he took one final picture. As she went to walk away, Nathan grabbed her hand, got down on one knee and popped the question! Heather loved having her parents there to share this special moment and it’s one that she will never forget!
A Dream Come True
On April 13th, Heather and Nathan celebrated their union with a gorgeous ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Parish followed by a wonderful reception at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles! Their overall theme for their special day was very traditional Catholic wedding with a rustic ambiance for the reception! Their center pieces were wooden slabs surrounded by either greenery wreathes and lanterns or simple mason jars with baby’s breath flowers! Heather looked absolutely breathtaking in the Krista from Morilee by Madeline Gardner! This romantic fit and flare gown features frosted, embroidered lace appliques cascading down the entire gown and a beautifully trimmed illusion back! Heather also wore a beautiful crystal beaded veil from Giselle Bridals to complete her bridal look! Her bouquet was very airy with an abundance of greenery and simple colors to make it pop, especially against her ivory dress! Her bridesmaids wore a variety of dresses from the Bari-Jay Bridesmaids Collection in the color slate, which was the perfect accent color for their rustic theme! The groomsmen also had simple clusters of baby’s breath with a twine wrapping, which matched their centerpieces! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:

Caterer: Russo’s Catering
Photography: Ashley Michele Photography, LLC
DJ: TKO DJs
Hairstylist: 2nd Street Hair Salon
Makeup Artist: Your Beauty Ball
