Their Love Story
Kurt & Tori both grew up in O'Fallon Missouri and attended Fort Zumwalt West High School together. Although, they did not know one another, other than just a few passing smiles in the hallways.
They went their separate ways for college, Kurt attended University of Missouri-Columbia, and Tori attended Southeast Missouri State University. Both graduated in May 2014, Kurt with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and Tori with a degree in Communication Science & Disorders.
Kurt returned to their hometown to start his career as an Engineer. Tori went on to pursue a Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Memphis.
It was during that time the two officially met again through a mutual friend's annual Christmas party, and fell in love from there!
The Proposal
Fast forward about 2 years later. Kurt told Tori he would be out of town for the weekend. Tori's best friend Kelsey, casually asked if she would go with her to the barn where she keeps her horses to take some pictures. Little did she know, Kurt had been planning a special surprise for a couple months with the help of their friends and family.
It was on October 15, 2017 that Kurt got down on one knee, and Tori said yes!
They drove back home where Kurt had also planned a surprise engagement party for that night. The happy couple was greeted by some of their closest friends and family to celebrate the wonderful occasion!
A Fairy Tale Day
On May 18th, Tori and Kurt celebrated their very special day with a beautiful fairy tale garden themed wedding. Their beautiful ceremony was held at the Jewel Box and they danced the night away with their loving friends and family at the Lumen! Tori looked like a princess in the Montgomery dress from the Wtoo collection by Watters. This unique dress was perfect for Tori's fairy tale theme, featuring an illusion embroidered bodice, a layer-upon-layer embroidered skirt, and stunning embroidered flowers cascading down the dress. She also wore delicate one-layer cathedral length veil from Berger Collection to complete her bridal look! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
