Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Andrea and Jeremy

We love sharing the photos from our brides! Andrea and Jeremy's Meet Me in St. Louis themed wedding was absolutely stunning. We are excited to share their story and pictures with you!

Love Story

Andrea and Jeremy first met while working together at RSM. Once Jeremy worked up enough courage to ask Andrea out in April 2016, he took her to the local DC Pizzeria and ended the date at the top of the National Harbor Ferris Wheel. Through the past three years, Andrea and Jeremy have traveled the world together from the pristine shores of Penghu, Taiwan to the end of the world in Punta Arenas, Chile. They love hosting people and have been known to throw some epic parties.

"Mia Grace was fantastic and helped me immensely with making my gown selection. I had visited several different bridal salons in multiple states trying to find the one and did not have any luck. After only a few dresses, they pulled the dress that checked all my boxes - simple, elegant with full coverage sleeves. Better yet, the Mia Grace team worked with the designer and me to make alterations to the base dress to make it fit my body type and style perfectly. I couldn't be more thrilled with the end result and everyone at the Mia Grace Bridal salon to help make my wedding day extra special." - Andrea

Proposal

With major life changes ahead for Andrea & Jeremy- a move to Indiana, Jeremy starting law school and Andrea trying to decide if auditing was her future- they decided that they wanted to make these big choices as a united front. One late November night in 2018, Jeremy took Andrea down to the Georgetown waterfront in downtown DC for a romantic stroll under the stars.

In a moment of panic, Jeremy pointed aimlessly the night sky and said "look there is something over there." Andrea, playing along, looked up and when she turn around, Jeremy was down on one knee. Jeremy, already very nervous, looked lovingly into Andrea's eyes and asked... "Should we do this?" After a heartfelt reassurance and calming kiss from Andrea, Jeremy asked her properly to marry him, to which she enthusiastically answered "absolutely!"

Wedding

Andrea and Jeremy's theme was Meet Me in St. Louis, because most of their guests were from out of town. The couple decided to focus on St. Louis locations and vendors. Since their reception was in the winter, their color palette was darker, pulling from the rich architecture of Union Station. Accents of gold were highlighted throughout the tables and flowers mixed with rich navy and deep red. Andrea and Jeremy were one of the first weddings at Union Station after the aquarium opened!
