We received pictures from another beautiful Mia Grace bride! We are obsessed with the stunning pictures of Taylor and Matt's wedding. Their simple, natural wedding was the perfect spring celebration.
"I had the best time at Mia Grace! I loved that it was so personal. The stylist I had picked some dresses based on my style. I also liked that my mom, bridesmaids, and I could browse and pull dresses as well. I loved the mirror set up because it was so pretty and gave my entourage a good view as well. Since my wedding, my cousin and another cousin's fiancee have also gotten dresses from Mia Grace. I cannot speak highly enough!" - Taylor
Love Story
Matt and Taylor met in high school band class. They quickly became friends and then Taylor went off to college. Taylor and Matt started dating in the spring of Taylor's first year of college and continued to date long-distance at different schools for five years. Matt was at Missouri S&T and Taylor went to Missouri State. The couple finally ended their long-distance relationship when they got married!
She Said YES!
Since Taylor and Matt were dating long-distance, they would frequently have fun dates planned for the weekends when they could be together. The week of Thanksgiving, Matt was going to be home for a whole week. He suggested a date day on Saturday, and said he would choose a surprise location for lunch. Matt showed up at Taylor's parents' house to pick her up. Taylor had endless questions and kept trying to figure out where they were going! They finally came to a local park and Matt brought a picnic. The couple had their lunch and walked around the lake. On the opposite side, there was white sand along the bank. Matt stopped Taylor on the white sand, got down on one knee, and asked Taylor to marry him! Taylor immediately said YES! Matt even had his sister there taking pictures from across the lake! Matt intentionally planned the proposal right before the holiday season so they could celebrate with all of their friends and family! It was the perfect day.
The Wedding
Taylor and Matt had a spring wedding full of greenery and flowers. Their colors were blush and emerald. Their reception venue was a beautiful lodge built of natural wood. The couple made wooden circles to put on tables as center pieces and had a lot of natural elements. They took advantage of the gorgeous landscaping at the park by taking a lot of outdoor photos.
