Love Story
Derek and Michelle met at a charity golf tournament at Lake of the Ozarks. When Derek asked Michelle what club everyone was using that day, they both joke that Michelle had him at Pigeon wedge (she meant pitching wedge). The two started talking after the tournament ended, and haven’t missed a beat. They have traveled to 20 states together since and couldn’t imagine their lives without each other.
Proposal
Derek proposed to Michelle a year and half after they met on Christmas morning. Derek popped the question when Michelle opened her first gift. Christmas is Michelle's favorite holiday, which made the proposal that much sweeter!
Wedding
Derek and Michelle wanted a small wedding. They have always loved Top of the Rock and Big Cedar Lodge. It was a perfect for the wedding. They love the outdoor setting and everything came together perfectly for their special day!
