Congratulations to Brigid and Brady on their gorgeous wedding! After four years together, Brady popped the question on a beautiful hike. These two tied the knot in a modern, rustic ceremony last month!

“I had the most amazing experience with my stylist… I was very self-conscious about how I would look in dresses and WOW was it such a beautiful comfortable experience. I tried on so many dresses to understand what style I wanted and when I finally tried on the Rebecca Ingram Valerie dress I knew it was the one- started crying even more when I found out it has pockets!! Didn’t need to try on any other dress. It was a dream to wear on my wedding day.” - Brigid
Love Story
Brady moved from Montana to St. Louis for his job and Brigid was in dental school in St. Louis. One random night they both decided to go out on the town, and they met at McGurks in Soulard!
After the first meeting they were inseparable friends for a few months getting to know each other and meeting friends and family. Finally, Brady asked Brigid to be his girlfriend one cold April night at a Cardinals game.
The next four years of dating included traveling to 26 states, Canada, Ireland, Scotland and England, buying a home and rescuing their dog, Edward. Brady helped Brigid through the hardest time of her life when her father passed away eight months before their wedding. His love for her helped her navigate wedding planning through it all.
Proposal
Brady had bought the engagement ring and asked Brigid’s parents for their permission while Brigid was at a work function and he told them his plan to propose in Michigan during their upcoming trip in two weeks. It was only fitting Brady proposed on one of the amazing trips that they are known to go on.
Brigid was extremely surprised because it was just like any other trip. Unknown to her, Brady had put much more thought into the weekend trip to Michigan than she thought. Brady had planned for them to go to New Buffalo and had a whole weekend of reservations planned. Unfortunately, five days before leaving, the hotel they planned on staying in burned down and there were no reservations left. Brady was scrambling and decided to go to Glen Arbor instead.
They drove up on Friday and got to the Air BNB very late. Brady woke Brigid up at 6:30am the next day and asked to go for a hike. The hike was gorgeous, and they ended up at the top of the Sleeping Bear Dunes. A couple was already there and had just gotten engaged. They asked if they could have their photo taken. Brigid asked for one in return.
As they videoed and took pictures, Brady got down on one knee and asked Brigid the easiest question she ever had to answer in her life. Crying and celebration ensued as they woke up everyone in their family with the news!
Wedding
The theme of Brigid and Brady’s wedding was modern rustic. Brady’s father hunts and graciously gave them his deer and elk antlers to use as decor throughout the wedding. They had plenty of greenery and lanterns from Brigid’s aunt and many wood centerpieces.
Everything came together perfectly for their day!
