Love Story
Carolyn and Zachary met in the Army four years ago when they were both active-duty Soldiers! They began dating when they lived in the same barracks building together. The couple even worked in the same building.
Their first date was at an Army Ball held by Zachary’s unit. He asked Carolyn to be his date a couple weeks after they met each other. It’s been true love ever since! Carolyn knew he was the “one” because when she met him, she felt so comfortable with him that it felt like they already knew each other.
Zachary proposed to Carolyn on Valentine’s Day 2020 when they were at home having a romantic night in. Zachary’s mother passed down a special family heirloom ring for him to give to Carolyn. Of course, she said YES!
Wedding
Carolyn and Zachary had a Vegas-themed wedding on 4-10-2021! The color scheme was purple, black, and white. The couple wanted to have bright floral colors to reflect the spring season and mix it with their Vegas wedding.
When they look back on their wedding day, the most memorable part was watching the processional walk in from the bridal dressing room on a big screen. That’s when Carolyn knew it was worth every penny and she was so glad they chose to have a Vegas wedding!
Carolyn was most looking forward to the ceremony because the couple had a traditional wedding ceremony inside a luxury chapel on the Vegas strip. All of the guests expected Elvis or a small chapel, so it really surprised them to see a traditional wedding in Vegas. The wedding was wild, chaotic, hectic, but absolutely worth it!
