Their Love Story
Jenny and Derrick met at a midnight softball tournament in August 2010. Jenny was being chased by a large bug and caught Derrick's eye. She already knew his sister, so we started hanging out socially after that. The two had their first date in November 2010. Ten years, a child, a dog, and a house later... they tied the knot!
She Said Yes!
Jenny and Derrick went to Virginia Beach for Christmas in 2017. Jenny is originally from there, so they were visiting her family. The couple was walking on the beach with their son looking for sea shells. While Jenny was wandering off, Derrick got down on one knee, found a shell and had the ring behind it. He called Jenny over and popped the question! Of course, she said yes! Jenny's sister-in-law was there to capture beautiful photos.
Wedding
Jenny and Derrick had a rustic themed wedding. Their venue, Little Piney, is in Hermann and is beautifully placed in a wooded area. Jenny really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and reception. The weather cooperated and it was a perfect 75 degree night!
