Love Story & Proposal
Jessica met Austin 20 years before dating through mutual friends but, "Austin was always the quiet guy and never spoke to me," said Jessica. So fast forward 20 years or so when there was Facebook. Jessica sent a friend request to the quiet guy she once new. Austin and Jessica started talking but could not wait to go on a date that same week. They hung out constantly after that and have been best friends ever since. They both agree that it has been kind of crazy to see how much their lives have crossed paths without them knowing each other on a personal level. Austin's family is large and have loved Jessica since day one. Her family is a little smaller and just love Austin and the way he is always by her side.
The Proposal
Jessica and Austin's proposal was almost sabotaged by a very close friend from out of town. Poor Austin almost lost his mind. The friend messaged Jessica the evening before the proposal saying her husband just told her and she wanted all the details. Jessica had no idea what she was talking about! Thankfully, Austin, in a hurry, came up with a worthy excuse that left Jess with no idea what was going to happen the following day.
Austin asked a few of Jessica's closest girlfriends, his kids, their grandson to be there the day it happened. He wanted to take everyone to their favorite spot. Austin's kids were waiting there for the couple to arrive. Jessica got out of the car and was so surprised to see everyone there. She turned around and there, Austin was grabbing her by the hand and on one knee, of course she said yes. A million times. It was one of the happiest days of Jessica's life.
Wedding
Jessica and Austin's wedding was absolutely stunning. The ceremony and reception took place at Oak Valley Golf Course. Everything was lush with their gorgeous boho decor.
Jessica looked beautiful in her gown by designer Maggie Sottero. The bodice is covered in beautiful lace appliqués embroidered with pearl and crystal beading. The sheath skirt fell beautifully in a cascade of lace. But beyond anything is the train, which goes without words.
