Katelyn and Alex's Love Story
Katelyn and Alex fell in love through their journey of becoming parents. Over three years ago Katelyn gave birth to their beautiful baby boy Jackson. They worked hard to raise him together and fell in love throughout the process.
When Alex decided to pop the question, they had hired a friend of their's who owns a party bus to drive them and their friends around for Katelyn's 30th birthday. Before the evening started, they gathered in front of the bus with their friends to take a group photo. Just as the picture was being taken, Alex got down on one knee and asked Katelyn to marry him!
Katelyn and Alex's Perfect Wedding
With nearly all of their friends are married and having gone to many standard weddings in a hall with a chicken dinner more than enough times, they knew they wanted to do something fun and different that really fit their personalities. They decided to have their wedding reception at the pavilion at the riverfront park in our town and hire multiple food trucks instead of traditional catering. They also hired Chillax Tap and Co's mobile unit to provide the drinks for the evening. It was fun and beautiful and everything that they wanted it to be!
We loved helping Katelyn find the perfect unique dress for her wedding day. Katelyn looked stunning in her off-white and rose gold Lenora dress by Wtoo by Watters. This dress stuns with classic Circle Lace, a high neckline with cap sleeves and thoughtfully-placed trim and cutouts that contour the body. While the keyhole back adds the perfect amount of a modern twist.

I loved every moment of shopping with Mia Grace. It was super convenient to be able to browse their inventory online and have some dresses ready for me to try on as soon as I got there. The staff was super friendly and did not make me feel pressured to buy anything. I had already bought another gown off Etsy, so I was mostly looking for a backup dress. Mia Grace followed up with me over the next few months after that first session and I loved the attention that they gave to me. As soon as it became apparent that the dress I had ordered was not going to work out, I immediately called Mia Grace to come in for another session.
