Love Story
Kathleen and Nick met in 2015 at a recreational softball league at a local park. Nick was playing, and Kathleen was watching some other friends play. Years went by and the two reconnected after Kathleen graduated training for the US Army. As they say… he rest is history!
Since the first day they started talking, they never stopped! Kathleen and Nick made it through a military deployment and planning a wedding during COVID. They love to travel, road trip and experience new places together, as well as go to baseball and hockey games!
Proposal
A few months before Kathleen was set to deploy overseas, she and Nick made a trip out to Las Vegas to help his mom move to Texas. On the last day of the trip in Texas, Nick took Kathleen to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens and said he just couldn't let her deploy before letting her know he didn't want to go through life without her! Nick asked Kathleen to marry him with the most beautiful ring she has ever seen. Kathleen, of course, felt the same and said ‘YES!’ to marrying him!
Wedding
Kathleen and Nick had a rustic, country style wedding, complete with some rain, mud, and beautiful sunshine before they got to some incredible fog and a breathtaking sunset during the reception!
Kathleen looked absolutely stunning in her gown by Rebecca Ingram, Ardelle. All the details came together perfectly on their special day!
