Love Story
Lauren and Steven were set up by mutual friends, and Lauren had a gut-feeling he would be her last first date before the date even happened!
Steven proposed in Forest Park after he ran in a 5k race. He was hoping to throw Lauren off since she wouldn’t be expecting it. Even though Lauren had his plans figured out from the moment she woke up that day, it was absolutely perfect. Obviously, Lauren said YES!
Wedding
The planning of Lauren and Steven’s wedding felt chaotic due to Covid, and Lauren was worried the day of would be more of the same. However, everything went perfectly and better than they could have ever expected! It was a gorgeous fall day filled with a lot of laughter and they wouldn’t change a moment.
Lauren was most looking forward to walking down the aisle to finally get married. Although, seeing her dad cry at the first look was a close second, though.
The most special part of their day was when Steven and Lauren were able to sneak away between pictures and dinner to have five minutes to themselves. They don’t remember what they even talked about, but they loved getting to have that time with just one another.
