Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Madison and Kyle

Congratulations to Madison and Kyle on their perfect fairytale wedding. These two tied the knot in the Redwoods of California. These pictures speak for themselves and we can’t wait to share them with you!

“The first time I went to Mia Grace was when I was going dress shopping for my best friend's wedding in April 2020. She had bought a dress from a different store and decided she didn't like it anymore, so we went to Mia Grace to see if we could find something else. There we met Madison and instantly had a connection. I knew I wanted to come back whenever I ended up getting engaged. The girls at Mia Grace were so helpful and accommodated my obsession with Maggie Sottero with such ease. I knew I was going to be a Maggie bride, and sure enough, I was right!” - Madison

Love Story

Madison and Kyle were set up through friends and were an instant hit. From very early in the relationship, Madison knew she was going to marry Kyle. On their first date, she was so sick, so they got soup at Bread Co., and that was truly the start of everything for them. Madison and Kyle met near the end of 2019 so when COVID-19 hit in early 2020, they were forced to move in together. It really worked out for them because instead of getting to know each other over a long period of time, they were literally forced to figure it out from very early on!

Proposal

Madison said, “Despite having a personality that seems a little flashy, I never wanted to have a grand proposal. Before getting engaged, Kyle had asked me what my perfect proposal would look like, and I told him that I always had loved the scene from the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding when Ian proposes to Toula while lying in bed. Something about the intimacy of proposing at home while lying in bed just made me feel so happy. So that's literally how he did it! He ordered the engagement ring I had picked out, but he was too excited to tell me about it, so he proposed to me before it had even arrived.”

Wedding

Madison always said she wanted to look like a fairy princess on her wedding day. Their theme was ethereal and fairytale-esque. Madison was having a hard time accomplishing that theme in a traditional venue, so she and Kyle decided to cancel their big wedding and elope in California. Among the redwood trees, they had the perfect fairytale ceremony.

Madison’s dress was the perfect blend of princess and botanical and looked so romantic! Madison and Kyle celebrate with a smaller reception with friends and family when they got home. The reception was more of a Valentine's Day theme with red and pink decorations!
