Congratulations to Mandy and JT on tying the knot! After a beautiful proposal at their favorite winery, these two said “I Do” in the perfect, rustic wedding!
“Once we got engaged my first call was to my friend Kasey to book her to do my makeup, second call was to [Mia Grace] to make an appointment to look at dresses. I'm extremely lucky because [my stylist’s] mom is my best friend so I knew she would take great care of me. After trying a few dresses and just not loving any she asked me a few questions about what I liked and disliked about the dresses I had tried on, then excused herself and came back a few minutes later with a few dresses. When I put my dress on I knew right away that it was the one. She didn't even have me all the way in it and I had goosebumps. She took everything I had told her and brought me the dress of my dreams. Love Story
Mandy and JT met through mutual friends. They would all get together on Sunday evenings and play games. There was definitely some innocent flirting between them, but one night their friend called JT out for giving Mandy googly eyes. Mandy took his phone and put her number in it. After going out a couple of times, Mandy told her mom she wasn't sure how long it would take but she was going to marry JT. Five years later, they tied the knot!
Proposal
Mandy and JT went with some friends to Cedar Lake Cellars, which is one of their favorite places to go, to celebrate their anniversary. They walked over to a gorgeous spot to take a photo, and when Mandy went to walk away JT said, “Wait let’s take one more.” Mandy turned around and he was on one knee and asked Mandy to marry him. She was speechless at first, but she said YES!
Wedding
Mandy and JT’s wedding was amazing! They went with a simple, rustic theme. The couple has a friend who is a talented woodworker. He made all one-of-a-kind centerpieces and many other details for the wedding! One thing that was very important to Mandy was for them to use all small, local vendors for the wedding and they were happy to accomplish that.
