Real Mia Grace Bride: Wedding of Meghan and George

Congratulations to Meghan and George on their gorgeous wedding! We are ecstatic to share their sweet love story and gorgeous wedding photos with you!

“I loved my dress so much. It was the last one I tried on. I was convinced I was buying another dress and I didn’t need to try it on, but my consultant insisted and I’m so glad she did!” -Meghan

Love Story:

Meghan and George met in college and got to know each other while studying for their literature and philosophy class. Finally, he asked Meghan on a real date and they’ve been inseparable ever since. After they graduated, the couple moved back to George’s hometown in Kentucky where he is a farmer and Meghan continues to work on her master’s degree online.

Proposal: George proposed to Meghan at Union Station. Her parents and best friend from home were there and she was completely surprised! Meghan and George were on the Ferris Wheel and Meghan hates heights, so she was on edge. Then, she looked over and George was on one knee!

Wedding:

About two weeks before Meghan and George’s dream wedding, the governor of Kentucky announced that unfortunately weddings were going to be limited again and this time to 25 people. This meant they would be changing a lot. The couple ended up having just their immediate family and wedding party there. They had to change their venue, photography plans, DJ, etc.

Despite the changes, the wedding was so much fun! Meghan and George were so much more relaxed than they would have been if they had had the 300 people originally invited there. Of course, they were sad they missed a lot of friends of family that day, but the couple knew they needed to abide by the guidelines for the safety of loved ones and others. They are so happy to finally be Mr. and Mrs.!
