Their Love Story
Alyssa and Ryan met through mutual friends. They texted before they met each other for the first time at a friend's house. The moment Alyssa saw Ryan, she knew he was the one for her! They had an instant connection. Over the years their love for one another continued to grow. Alyssa and Ryan started their relationship with long distance dating. They always made time for one another on the weekends. Working through a long distance relationship with one another helped Alyssa and Ryan grow even closer. They were together for four years when Ryan popped the question.
She said "Yes!"
In May of 2018, Alyssa and Ryan traveled to Europe. They were visiting a friend living in Germany and planned to take a day to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, which was the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle! Alyssa loves Disney and the connection to this castle made the day special. Alyssa and Ryan took a tour of the castle and planned to take some pictures with the castle in the background. However, Ryan had more than just some pictures planned for Alyssa to make an already special day even more special!
While taking a picture together, Ryan got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. He looked at Alyssa and said, "Every castle needs a princess, will you be mine? Will you marry me?" Alyssa said YES!
"I Do"
Everything for Alyssa and Ryan's wedding was classic and rustic. Le Belle Coeur was the perfect place for the reception. The wood ceilings, wood doors, and barn door were exactly what the couple envisioned. They decorated the space with lanterns, candles, and greenery. One of Alyssa and Ryan's favorite details was the Disney cake with a Precious Moments cake topper. The day beautiful, romantic, and everything they dreamed of.
