Love Story
Dakota and Ben met in jr. high and became friends. In high school, they decided to take things to the next level. Their first date was going to the fair together in their hometown. They ended up being high school sweethearts!
She Said YES!
Dakota and Ben planned a trip to Nashville, Tennessee for Dakota’s birthday. They went with Ben’s parents, his sister and her husband. His mom had the ring in her purse all day and in the evening, they walked on the Pedestrian Bridge where he proposed! Obviously, Dakota said YES!
Wedding
Dakota and Ben’s wedding had a rustic theme with burgundy, dusty blue, and champagne as their colors.
The part of the wedding day Dakota was most looking forward to was having the ceremony in the same church Ben’s grandparents and his parents held their ceremony in! It was incredibly special to be able to be married there.
The most special part of the wedding day was Dakota’s first look with her grandma. She is Dakota’s best friend and seeing her face when she saw Dakota in her wedding dress was a moment she will never forget!
After the ceremony, the couple drove around town on a sleigh being pulled by Ben’s family’s tractor. It was so much fun to be able to go around Ben’s parents’ hometown!
