Love story
Renly and Melanie met while they were both in yoga teacher training. At the time, Melanie was working with the nonprofit Yoga Buzz. They hit it off right away. Any chance they had in class to partner up, they chose one another. Now they get to choose each other every day of their lives!
Proposal
Renly proposed to Melanie at the Missouri Botanical Garden, on the bridge in the Japanese Garden. She had coordinated the moment with her brother and his wife, playing it off as a simple visit to the garden. They are garden members, so this was not unusual. Melanie jokingly asked Renly before they left home if she was going to propose that day, to which she convincingly replied "No." Melanie believed her. When Renly got down on one knee on the bridge, Melainie asked her "Are you serious?" She was, and Melianie said YES!
Wedding
Melanie and Renly's wedding was intimate and low-key. They incorporated jewel tones and wanted an earthy feel to the day. Melanie wore style 9474 by Allure. The beautiful color of the dress was a focal point for the rest of their decor and both venues. Everything came together perfectly and they celebrated on a gorgeous fall day!
